Arranged in three groups: I. Vocal scores (2). II. Chorus score (1). III. Promptbooks (6). Vocal scores are both manuscript, but in two distinct hands. One consists of unbound sheets contained in a Tams folder labelled "director's score." The other is labelled "Conductor score." The chorus score (acc. omitted) is a holograph copyrighted 1886 (New York) by the composer. Promptbooks include three copies in italics typescript and a manuscript version. An additional typed copy, bound in cloth and containing a printed title page copyrighted 1887 by the composer, is arranged as a stage manager's guide. The final copy consists of manuscript text and printed words pasted into a lined ledger; on the inside front cover are pasted a printed scene plot from the Academy Opera Co. (identifying Arthur Bell as stage director) and a printed cast list. This copy also bears the stamp of Arthur Bell. "Cinderella at school" was re-written in 1894 as "Dr. Syntax."
